These Belgian Congo aerogrammes were hand stamped “KATANGA” at the “Direction des Postes” in Elisabethville to denote Katanga as the country of origin.

The Comagre Company of Brussels, Belgium printed these postcards for Katanga. The central design of the printed stamps is a croisette, a Katanga national emblem.

1962: Aerogramme

The Comagre Company of Brussels, Belgium printed this aerogramme for Katanga. The printed stamp depicts a Katanga jet airliner at the Elisabethville airport. The directions for folding and concerning postal regulations are on the reverse side in both French and Kiswahili.
