The series:

Varieties: reversed overprint (all on top).

 I own the 23-29, 31, 35, 37 & 38.

Examples of “thin and thick” overprint

Example of the “short G”

Example of “displaced overprint” (I own no’s 25, 30, 36 & 37)

Examples of double overprint, notice that the K’s can be straight under each other or slightly displaced – first two examples. (I own no’s 23-27, 30)

Many examples of bad overprint are known, e.g. broken bars etc.

 Also described as “parasite”

No 37 with ink spot on the right.

No’s 24-29 on the Ruanda Urundi series (no’s 178-183), I do not know any other examples.

No 25 on 384 of the Republic of Congo

Remark:

No’s 31 (1F) & 38 (8F) seem to exist with double overprint of which one is reversed.

No 25 (15c) seem to exist with “moved overprint”.

The bar under KATANGA can measure 11 or 12 mm.
