Sports scenes

Between 1996 and 1997 there are several blocks issued, and also some series.

Apparently some of these blocks are made without the permission of the government of Zaïre. These were made and distributed by people who took advantage of the internal conflicts in Zaïre; these blocks were never issued, sold or used in Zaïre. They depict famous people, pop stars, movie stars, pets, wildlife, sport events and more “popular themes”. We have collected many of them, but surely there will be more.

Because this is a delicate subject we would like to take the time to find out what is exactly made, by who, and when before we announce this on this website. Of course we would like to get any information that could help to make this all clearer.
